Love Applebee's.... I had the best burger i have ever had. It's called the brunch burger. Burger with eggs, hash browns, bacon, cheese and it was delicious! There tap beer is at a perfect temp with the beautiful foam crown and great service

Applebee's has never been a favorite of mine but this location is strange. They have a lot, but it's valet only. It's an over crowded restaurant and the tables are smushed in to fit more customer I assume. This next part has nothing to do with the location but the food is sub par and I had a stomach ache for the rest of the day. I felt so gross after eating here I won't be back to any Applebee's locations. It's overly processed food, McDonald's is better.

I am having the all day brunch burger and I have to say it is the best burger I've ever had! Super happy right now! Date night with hubby rocks.

Service was great , but the food really sucked . I don't' know if it was because it was busy but the kitchen really half-assed it , I asked for a medium & I got a rare , I sent it back & I had to wait longer maybe because the chef probably had to kill a new cow & slice the meat from scratch , I don't know . but she stopped by every few minutes to apologize for the wait , she was great unfortunately I lost the receipt before I got the chance to revise this draft & I forgot her name . actually , I had blocked this whole experience from my memory until it was time for me to publish this post .well, i'm not going back there anytime soon .

There are plenty of other restaurants in a close proximity you should go to. Their French onion soup is terrible and their new attempts at reinventing a hamburger are pathetic. The sign a restaurant is run right is if the bathroom is taken care of as well. The Men's bathroom looked like a bomb had exploded in it. Toilet paper and piss everywhere plus the second stall has zero room and the door does not shut properly. The unsweetened iced tea also tasted weird. The only positive was their mozzarella sticks.

The service here is a hit or miss. You may be lucky to get a good waiter or waitress and then there are nights such as tonight where our waitress neglected our table. She failed to remove the used plates, never refilled our drinks and only came around with the check.....really? This is why I dislike this location because of poor service such as this. And let's not talk about the food smh it's fast food and that simply explains the disgusting servings and reheated taste. The lemonade was filled with sugar and utterly disgusting and if not for great company, I would have left!!!! Yeah, I'm not rushing to come back

Two bad encounters in one week! 1st one My family went on Sunday evening and we were so disappointed. We order two sodas and she brought one, told my husband she would be right back and after 20 minutes (the first time she resurfaced) he asked where the other soda was. No sorry, no nothing, just "oh yeah, right". When my daughter's food (kids meal) arrived the it was wrong. They had given her a different side dish. They did fix it immediately but to add onto the soda issue, her father was not happy. We ordered from the 2 for $20.00 menu. Chicken fingers baskets & Steak. My food was fine but small but at least there was on food on my plate. My daughter got more food on her kids meal plate than her father did. The both had chicken tenders, he had 3 she got 4 with very little fries. After all of that that when she handed the bill to us, she had drawn a heart over the requested 18% & 20 % gratuity recommendations. Paid and when she returned with the receipt she once again had drawn a heart over the recommended gratuity. I understand they are kids and are working for the tips but how do you screw up not one but two things and still push for a higher tip. 2nd one Then last night went to the car pickup and door and it was locked. Rang the bell 3x's and waited 15 minutes. When they did open the door the rug would only allow for the door to open enough to put your head and hand in. For some reason food was at the bar... had to wait again. When she returned with the food, she had to go get a total...had to wait. Then when I handed her the payment she had to go enter it...had to wait again. Seems like a lot of waiting. Wasted an extra 25 minutes because I wanted to have a quick easy dinner for my family. Somebody should help them get their act together.

What can you say about a chain that hasn't already been said... Same food and same drinks like any other Applebee's. What wasn't the same was the service.... super super slow! It took over 20mins for our order to be taken and we were already on a time crunch. We asked for the bill when we got our food and didn't get it until one of us had to go chase down our waiter after our table was cleared. The sad part is ...there was crowd.. just 2 other tables in her section... lol lol I will only come here again when co workers get together.

Wasn't even going to bother with a review. I got a gift certificate and went last Saturday for lunch and all three of us ordered a basic cheeseburger deluxe. The burger was decent enough but the McDonald type fries were less than 20 on the plate. Definitely not worth $12.50 The wait staff was okay Gift card was not used because husband paid the tab. Three burgers, three sodas just about $60. Went back this evening still to use the gift card and got two sets of the 2 for $20. Appetizer consisted of four mozzarella sticks, definitely not enough for 2. Husband said talipia was dry and overcooked. Son said the steak was just as small as expected so no surprise there. Well the gift card is now gone and so am I. Definitely will not be going back.

Applebee's - why does this location SUCK so much??? The service ALWAYS sucks. The food never comes out all at once. You ask to lower the AC that is coming out like snow from the vents, and you're ignored. The taste? SALTY Nothing compares to how this chain used to be in the 90's when it was actually cool to eat here, but you can tell only people with low class come here to drink like there's no tomorrow. Seriously, it's 2PM; I hope you have a job. I'd maybe think about coming here if I got a coupon or a gift certificate, otherwise, there's PLENTY of better, healthier options to choose from in the area.

I never thought I would see the day that I would no longer want to come to Applebee's but that day has come. We came in with our son excited to try the new apps they have been advertising. Of course our son wanted a cheeseburger and fries, so that was his meal. We came in during happy hour so some of the apps are half priced. We knew we wanted to try two of the new ones so we ordered the pot stickers and spin dip from the happy hour menu and from the 2 for $11.99 menu we ordered the brisket sliders and double crunch wings. Now having been here plenty of times before we were figuring between the two of us that would be plenty of food with some left over. Wow were we wrong. All the appetizers are half the size of what they used to be. And the 2 for $11.99 came out and it was two of the smallest plates I've ever seen. We actually thought they brought us the wrong food. So we waited till the waitress came back with the rest of the food and asked her if those were actually the 2 for $11.99 and the full size apps and she said "Yes, the appetizers are smaller now." Umm, That's an understatement, miss. I definitely don't see myself coming here for any reason but for a few beers during happy hour cause any meal that will fill you up, they raised the price on and anything cheap will leave you still hungry. Later Applebee's, it was good while it lasted.

Never again. Been coming here after work on Fridays for a long time. Been through good managers, stephen and Eddie. They were adults. The youngsters calling themselves managers these days are in way over their heads. Wing appetizers - raw. Green Goddes salad delivered without the green goddess and chicken was uncooked again. Offered free entree. Chose a burger. 35 minutes later bar tender sent it back because she was unaware the manager placed the order. Kitchen semed to be in a state of confusion as we witnessed many other unhappy customers calling over the manager. Sad. This is close to home and convenient plax e to settle in on a Friday after a long week. Been in decline for awhile now but finally hit bottom.

I'd rather have an apple stuck in my ass and a bee sting my balls then go back to that hellhole. We waited 45 minutes for a waitress only to experience the worst tasting shit ever on the face of the earth. I forgot what the fuck I ordered but it was like someone pouring a jug of salt down my throat. I'm seriously wondering why a lot of yelpers like this place and raved about it giving it 4 stars, is it me, am I crazy...I dont think so

  • Ginger R.

I've eaten here several times. When I came in with as friend and a big order, service was good. I came in myself for lunch a couple of times, sat at a table, was completely ignored and walked out. They do not want service for one. Lunch was once served cold and lunch doesn't tend to be good. Dinner on a holiday for 2 with a lot of food was decent. I would suggest it only for big spenders and more than one person.

I've only been here once, and didn't have a problem. Don't think an Applebee's needs valet parking for THEIR parking lot, so I parked on the street about a half block away. We got their on a Saturday around 3:30 pm after shopping, and beat the crowd. My wife and I took advantage of their 2 for $20 deal. The appetizer and both entrees were fine. The server was polite and attentive. I think if you get here before it gets crazy busy, you'll be fine!!

did you forget? Went there a few times (not by choice of course) Things i have experienced ill just make a list: Ran out of beer Bring wrong beer Bring COLD beer in a WARM glass Bring barley warm food Bring all the food for everyone at the table different times Ask for a napkin wait 10 minutes. Refill a soft drink - makes you look at your watch Always a long wait Bring the check - FOR EVER The plus valet parking - yay?

Screw these turd burglars...there I said it No seriously...I go here once with my wife (then girlfriend) and we order some of their sub par fast food elite meals. The bill comes and it is like $30.55 and the lady leaves us the thing to leave the money inside it. We leave her a tip and then a $50,a quarter, a dime, and four nickels to give her $50.55. This means she just grabs a $20 for us and it makes life a tad bit simpler for her. I have this OCD where I have to leave exact change for the waitress because I feel like its helping her...yes odd...but whatever...I have this weird thing with bills and giving the person the exact change if I have it. She is taking forever returning with our change...so we decide, "eh lets just get up and walk over to her, she seems busy." We are standing behind her and she doesn't realize it. I come to the realization that she is bad mouthing us about giving her the loose change in the bill. Why oh why does she care? I did not realize that giving her 55 cents would make her so angry. I say excuse me, she turns around and is shocked to see us and plays it off like she was not talking about us. I just laughed to my wife, got my $20 and left just finding this entire incident so stupid. Angry applebees lady...I am sorry for being such a hassle...it wont happen again...because I hate applebees...oh not because you are an awful miserable server...but because your food is absolute crap.

This place doesn't even deserve a star. First let me say the only reason me and my friend came to Applebees was because Friday's was closed due to sandy. We were seated pretty quick. I asked to go to the bathroom and had to walk through a maze like environment. It's so inconvenient. The tables are so close together and the bathroom seemed like a mission to get too. I'm surprised the stalls had toilet paper. There were no towels to wipe my hands with. I went to go sit at the bar and the stools were uncomfortable to sit on because they were wobbling. When we ordered our food we didn't wait long. When the food was brought out the waiter TWICE switched our order so whatever I ordered was given to my friend and vice verse. My friend ordered potato twists and instead he got plain chips with cheese. Who wrote this menu ? It was literally chips and cheese. My wings were good. The drinks weren't as strong. The waiters seemed inattentive and boring. When I commented on how i liked the waiters shirt because it said "Hello Brooklyn" on it instead of replying oh thanks! he said "it's our uniform..." Not a fun place. i was looking forward to coming to eat here but IT'S NEVER HAPPENING AGAIN. This place needs new management.

I love coming to this Applebee's. The location's perfect for spring or summer. After a meal or before a meal, you could take a stroll around and the beach is 15 minutes away I believe. The Mojitos here are pretty good and so's about everything else. Portions are big, filling and affordable. They also have a parking lot, so that's another plus. Worth checking out.

I always get the $20 for 2 since I only eat out with my loving boyfriend. The food is alright but we keep coming back. Although I believe Applebees anywhere have no difference .. they always lack a little spaz. I tried to go there on Valentine's Day and it was packed .. they said wait for party of 2 would be an hour. A few times we went there, we had honest waitresses. Nothing too special, my comfort food.

  • Bryant Y.

I came here on a Sunday night to celebrate a friend's birthday. I had the 2 for $20 deal. I ordered the 7 oz steak, grilled chicken caesar salad, and the boneless buffalo wings. When my appetizer came..the waitress ended up serving it to the wrong person. I ordered my steak medium and it came out medium well, the mashed potatoes came out cold. The only decent part of the meal was the grilled chicken caesar salad.

Went out with the hubby last night to Applebee's to spend quality time. Went to the one here on Emmons Ave just to get away from the hustle and bustle of Brooklyn. Service was okay, nothing to complain about really. Hubby ate well and so did I, timely service, clean table. A-Ok.

how wrong can you go in a applebee's (besides of the check lol) the food always rocks the drinks are amazing never found what to complain its my favorite places to chill and enjoy a nice meal with friends! as usual always great food very friendly staff (for a Brooklyn restaurant)

Went to Crapplebees, ordered a "frajita" dish and distinctively told the server {Russian}"no mushrooms" cuz I`m allergic to them. 40 minutes later when it finally came, it was cold and LOADED with `shrooms. I sent it back and waited another 10 minutes. When the servre put it on the table, she said very rudely "are you satisfied now"? Ate it and left. Bland and tasteless, the chicken was tough and overcooked, and the peppers and onions were practically raw Gave her a very small tip- and I generally tip very good. . A total bummer, one of the worst "dining" experiences I`ve ever had. I intend to complain about it on their website. Avoid this place like the plague. Not worth your time or money.Zero stars.

    (1)
  • Jawad S.

Worst Applebee's I've ever been to! I complained about the beer tasting a bit stale and they said "that's personal preference and we can't do anything about it". To not even take the 6 dollar drink back and give the customer a good experience tells me a lot about the quality of this place .

    (1)
  • L S.

Well this location is much much better than the Valley Stream in LI.(We been in both places) the food tasted like tv dinners in L I. Awfull! God why did we came?

  • Vivian D.

Went to Applebee's on Emmons Ave last night. The food was lousy and the service was worse. The waiter was unattentive and unprofessional. Even when I complained about the awful sangria (served in a beer mug) and asked to return it, he didn't offer an apology, nothing. He just took it and walked away. He didn't ask if if I wanted a new one or even something else. We ordered shooters for dessert and the whipped cream was warm and milky, and running down the outside of the dessert cups. If you want great service, try Applebee's in Five Towns. Excellent waiters and great conversation with the manager who was stopping by each table to make sure patrons were happy. We are never going back to Emmons Ave.

This is my favorite Applebee's. In fact it's the only Applebee's I really like. This is a nice place to come in the summer and sit outside with a good meal and a cocktail.

    (3)
  • Baby S.

The place used to be more or less OK when it just opened and we mostly come here because our kids love their mac and cheese and the activity booklet with crayons that they give out. We went this summer and the first disappointment was that the mac and cheese portion came on a small plate, there probably were like literally 3 spoonfuls on it. My kids are not big eaters and before, I would order them a single portion which came in a bowl and that would have been a plenty, but this time, I had to order two more portions to feed them. Turns out that they fooled us and even when we pressed, they kept on telling us that this is the right size. So, we spent 15 bucks on a plate of Mac and cheese. The service absolutely stinks. I don't know why this place is so crowded. I am never setting my foot in it again.

  • Janice F.

Like any other Applebee's, it takes forever. I have nothing really to say about this place other than it's like any other Applebee's. The location is nice though, right across the bay so it's great for dinner and then a walk by the bay during the summer. But honestly, why would you come to a chain restaurant here when there are a ton of local restaurants who I'm sure buy their seafood from the early morning fishermen right across the street? Even it you don't like seafood, roll n roaster which serves fast food, is so much better. Only gave it three stars 'cause I guess I kinda like Applebee's. But if you're in this neighborhood with this random Applebee's that you can find anywhere else, why would you come here?!

    (3)
  • kathy k.

Whoa, 20 bucks for two meals plus an appetizer! And the steak is cooked perfectly, comes out hot and seasoned..fries are plentiful..go for the sweet potatoes fries! Broccoli warning, they love this stuff here..but veggies are nicely cooked, even if you hate broccoli! Drinks are measured shots as with most chains, so don't expect great overpours or any comps..but they make sure your glass is full, bring condiments if you sit at the bar..you really can't beat the specials or happy hour here. Great for a cheap lunch out, or happy hour with apps. The staff is friiendly and remember you.

    (4)
  • Freddy V.

Food doesn't taste very good at Applebee's. If I'm ever in a mood for glorified fast food I will go straight to Roll N Roaster which is straight up the block. The last time I came to Applebee's the waiter forgot to give me my credit card back. I had to come back the next day to pick it up. It also feels a bit dirty here and don't think I will come back.

  • Andy R.

Came for happy hour and left unhappy. Never order margaritas in this place. Completely not what Margarita should be like. It was sour and overly sweet and yucky. So I got a beer as my second drink. Beer was sour too, and it was Sam Adams Boston lager. Apetizers were ok. Next time I am going to a regular bar. At least beer is ok over there.

    (2)
  • Dennis K.

Lets talk about this bar: Bartenders scoop ice with glasses. What happens if a glass breaks or nips? Unwanted beer is stored in a cooler in the original glass mug and is served to an unsuspecting customer later on. Glasses are not clean. Sticky all around. Beer is not served on a napkins or glass coaster.

    (1)
  • Jessica S.

Beware Horrible service! The manager has no control over seating process. You can go to another restaurant eat and then come back and you will be on the same line waiting to be seated if your not friends with the manager or Black out! Never coming here again.

    (1)
  • Darren R.

Great place for family and kids. The bar makes a great environment for watching sports and dining alone. The staff smile often, and are respectable and fun. The sirloin is my usual order and for 11$ u get an app and desert. They offer a wide array of pretty tropical drinks. Very sociable with a great view of sheepshead bay.

    (4)
  • Jason R.

The thing I like best is the happy hour that goes on for more than an hour, where the appetizers and draft beers are all half price. Its a spot to hang out for a quick bite to eat and a few drinks/ beers.

I don't think I like Applebees anymore Last night I had a sucky waitress with an attitude because I asked for a new sprite. I hate flat soda and I will never drink flat soda. I asked nicely said please and thank you like I always do. She give me the drink with an attitude and I swear I think she gave me back the same exact drink. So ever since then her attitude began. Tried the new pot stickers they sucked! Filling was weird, sauce was weird. Might not have been properly cooked do to me being sick this morning. I had the fiesta lime chicken with mash and I saw pink inside my chicken so i didn't eat it. I didn't send it back because I was so disappointed I didn't wanna say anything. When my weird mojito came I needed water I told my boyfriend to ask for water because I didn't want any more attitude from her. Suprisinlgy she brung me a glass as well. The dessert was the only good thing. Triple chocolate melt down. It came so fast tho obviously it was microwaved. Even my mojito was nasty like I dont understand. For once I would just like to have a good experience and have a waitress take care of me how I do for my customers. Is that too much to ask??! Please step it up Applebees I used to LOVE your food and drinks.

1st waited for my beer after they served me with wrong one . Then they screwed up my wife's order . So I'm leaving 2 stars because the food was a OK and NO Service.

After my Surf Ave Applebee's misadventure, used my gift cards here tonight. Went for early dinner on weeknight so they were not packed yet. Prompt seating and service. Had boneless wings with honey mustard on side, steak and tilapia. Food was better than I expected, compared to expectations from other reviewers. I will go again, esp during non-peak hours.

I have always been a fan of Applebee's. My most recent time being there was on my girlfriend's birthday. We reserved a spot there because of the amount of people that were going to come. When we entered, I was greeted along with my friends by the employees who work there. When we sat down we explained that we are still waiting for guests and they were very patient. It took about half an hour for everyone to come and join. We made our order and everything like steak, french fries, drinks came in a timely fashion. Nothing was rushed nor delayed. The food was incredible! Everything was tasty and delicious. The place in general was pretty nice and not as noisy as I assumed for it to be. The restaurant was kept really clean. The tables were spotless and so were the carpets in the place along with the bathroom. Emmons is quiet a busy place for people who arrive here on cars, but not to worry because this Applebee's has their own private parking lot. This place is perfect! After you are done with the food you can walk outside to the perfect view of the bay filled with boats and a nice sea breeze. Defiantly a friendly place for friends and family to come by and enjoy what Applebee's has to offer.

I wish I could give this plave a 0. I saw bartenders spitting in the sink. I am indian and I was treated like crap. Not accommodating at all. Food was cold. Steak was raw. Shrimp smelled like pee. Place is a mess. Go there to drink only but watch out for bartenders spitting. I am definitely spreading the word about this place. I never write bad reviewa. I try to only write when a place is amazing but this place is ridiculous. Table has snotty tissue also. See pic

My husband and I wanted to try this location even after reading all the bad reviews. I agree with what allot of people say about the service, we had to wait an hour to get our food. However the food was much better than I expected!

    (3)
  • Ansel G.

I'll give applebee's credit. They are very consistant. Consistantly bad all around. The food not only tastes like crap it also looks like crap. But that isn't the worst part of this place. The service is so bad it makes me wonder how they could still be in business. Even when I try to avoid the service by getting take out they still screw that up. If you enjoy being forgotten about as well as getting your food at all different points of your dinner this is your spot.

    (1)
  • Jangkhentsang D.

I went there with no expectations, and I was not disappointed. Food as usual is mostly frozen, but fills you up. I get into this mood of having this kind of all American food. Food was huge size with no flavor. Thanks to the Tabasco. It narrowed down the gap. Service was super casual. Staff literally doesn't care but are friendly. I will definitely return because I'm not fussy diner.

  • Aya S.

I had a really bad experience there I didnt like the food at all it was very noisy and I felt like I was setting with the table next to me I could here their conversations and they could hear mine no privacy and they were overpriced , overall am not going back.

  • Crystine W.

This was by far the worst Applebee's I have ever visited and I am shocked that it is still in business. I should've read the reviews prior to coming here because that would've saved me a lot of trouble. They offer painfully slow service. We sat outdoors and there were 2 other tables seated there (although one was leaving). It took 15 minutes for someone to come over and acknowledge us after we had been seated and then an additional 45 minutes for the server to begin bringing the food out. If they were busy and I was at a high-end restaurant, I can understand it taking a long time for my food to be prepared. At Applebee's, these foods are mostly deep-fried, thrown on a plate and then served ... it also didn't help that on my way to the bathroom, I passed a table of at least 10 servers just yapping it up about some DUI one of them recently got. Our particular server was also careless and gave us the wrong information, first telling us that we wouldn't be charged for something and then later telling us that it would be an additional $8 charge. We were very thankful to leave as soon as we finished our meal, which also tasted really bland and dry (chicken and potatoes). You won't see any return trips from me.

  • Allie D.

went there with my husband for dinner. waiters texting, damp humid dining area, waited for 20 minutes for a server, cowboy burger was messy and unedible manager not found anywhere not a great place to dine and relax not a good dining experience here

It's ok. I wish service was better. The waitresses barely check up on us so it takes forever to get anything even the check

Was forced here by my kids... place is horrible. But I can jonestly say Ive never ever had a good meal at any Applebees...ever.. the parking lot is ridiculously crowded here

    (2)
  • Cori C.

I'll admit I went here as a joke. They just started serving breakfast and I expected something like IHOP, Perkins, etc. The food took over 30 minutes to come out, even though the place was empty. The wait staff seemed pretty overwhelmed. We got an omelet and pancakes - they were pretty bad, even for a chain.

    (2)
  • Darryl D.

After Friday's closed, I was dragged to Applebee's by my SO multiple times because she liked their fru-fru girly drinks. And while she's binging on pink cosmos, I'm suffering their horrid food. Now, I'm not unreasonable. I know that Applebee's food is prepackaged and basically just reheated. I expect that. My issue is when I'm dropping about $60 for two people to eat said food. I refuse to eat dinner here. If we go, we go to the bar area have a few drinks and get three appetizers. I will say this. I don't know about the other reviews, but the staff has always been great with us. I've never had an issue with personell.

Disgusting food, filthy place, rude waiters and waitresses. The menus are straight from the hood: torn, ripped off, sticky. I mean it is insane! They do not even know how to cook a burger. Even if you are starving, do yourself a favor, do not end up in this dumpster. To make matters worse, there was a gas leak a few weeks ago, some employees apparently were poisoned by carbon monoxide. They had to shut down the place, fire department and cops were on site, patrons had to leave...But they still had to pay, what a dumpster

While driving through Brooklyn my friend and I decided to stop and eat at the local Applebee's. Not knowing a lot of business in the area I figured it would be a safe choice. We started off with the artichoke spinach dip which was really good but the dip to chip ratio was definitely not enough. I got a BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger which was cooked properly (medium well), juicy and tender with a good amount of bacon, tomatoes and lettuce. Fries were okay but not to die for. My friend ordered an Oriental Chicken Salad which she HATED. Personally I didn't see anything wrong with it but she claims the flavor was all over the place and the chicken itself was dry. She had one bite and decided not to finish. Therefore we ended up sharing my burger and fries. Our server was pretty forgetful (no napkins or drink refill) but she made up for it with politeness and friendliness. Overall a good vibe and service relative to the price. Well at least they were playing good jams, here's 3 stars.

I really wanted to go to a nice, non-chain restaurant seeing as I was in Brooklyn for the first time, but by the time we got around to going out to dinner it was late and a lot of restaurants were closing. After stopping at a seafood restaurant and not knowing what anything else beside salmon was on the menu we decided to go to Applebee's to get some grub at a cheap price. I wasn't looking forward to coming seeing as the Applebee's we have here in Johnstown NY is the absolute worst. Besides it being a basic chain restaurant with generic food it was pretty decent overall. Food wasn't too bad and the service was pretty good. A-OK for an Applebee's.

The waiting room has a smell that is reminiscent of human feces. There are few other places in the world that after I walked in and smelled shit, it doesn't seem out of the ordinary and I'll still sit down and eat. Welcome to Applebee's, right? Service was fast, food was made as expected. What else can you ask for?

I'll skip the colorful story and head straight to the reasons I will not come back again: -Grossly underestimated the wait time -Seated many parties that came in after our party of 3 -Lackluster wings and chicken finger plates were the quality level of a dingy Lower East Side bar....at a premium price -Actually reheated some macaroni and cheese once I got home just to make up for the experience And I can't leave out the bloody family fight that broke out in the parking lot on my visit before this one I suppose their location is the reason for any business they have.

It took us 40 minutes to get our food.. The waitress was nice about it, but still... We ordered a salad and 2 burgers. Enough said.

I always like going to Applebee's outside of Manhattan (priced higher than advertised). My boyfriend and I stopped here to grab food and ordered from the 2 for $20 menu (1 appetizer and 2 entrees). I had the 7 oz. steak and the boneless chicken wings for the appetizer. The wings were decent. It wasn't hot. There was three skinny sticks of celery on the side that was a bit warm when we got them. I ordered my steak medium well and that's how I got it. Nice and delicious! The side of vegetables was extremely soft (probably little nutritional value) so I only ate the broccoli (my favorite vegetable). The side of mash potatoes was good (just add a little pepper). Service was a little slower than I would have liked but not unbearable.

Going to an Applebees? PREPARE TO DIE. Trust me this was NOT on my list of places to eat ever again in life but SOMEONE likes fattening shameful American restaurants so here I am. Scour menu. Only find ONE thing remotely interesting. (Alfredo spnach ravioli). Oh greeeat its no longer on the menu..... What the hell am I gonna do now? Ok riblets w mash potatoes...what the hell. Got some stuff before and after too. Scorecard 1 French onon soup GROSS 1 of 5 .. like beef au jus w fat (um soaked bread) in it 2 Sampler 2 of 5 artichoke dip dangerous but yum/mozz sticks OK/bbq thingies decent... 3 riblets/mash taters 5/5! unexpected deliciousness! dont ask calorie count! 4wldberry mojito 0/5 5 wildberry lemonade 0/5 WAY too sweet and sour 6 strawberry shortcake shooter 3/5 PS Service SUCKS. Ever wait 12 or more mins for a drink? DEATH TOLL (provded I ate/drank it all) OVER 2700Cals. God kill me now.

The meat was way overcooked and dry i thought my teeth was going to break..i def wont be coming back here anytime soon unless its for drinks!

This is the worst place I have ever eaten at. I see people giving good reviews and I have to say that they should have their Yelp rights revoked. I know better than to eat at a chain restaurant but I figured how could they screw up a burger? First, I ordered a side Caesar salad and when I received it, it tasted refrigerated and the croutons were stale. I then ordered one of their "signature" burgers. I asked for it to be cooked medium rare. I was told that they can't make it this way. Im still trying to understand why. I specifically asked that it not be well done. Sure enough it was well done and the bacon was undercooked...better yet it was cold. The burger itself was cold and I asked to return it for what I ordered. So believe it or not, they brought me another well done burger. With all that said, when I took one bite of the salad and pushed it away the bartender didn't even ask what was wrong with it. Likewise with the burger, all they asked was if I was finished. In conclusion, the kitchen staff is terrible, the service is completely oblivious and doesn't seem to know how to service their clientele. The best part of the entire place was the valerie guys who got me in and out of there fast. Sad that I have to actually give it one star.

Came here on Sunday for late lunch. We order from the 2 for 26 menu. We decided on the buffalo wings to share. We also added the spinach dip which were both good. For dinner I had the creamy steak and shrimp and my friend had the steak. The service was good, we had to wait a little bit for a table which was fine. The reason for the 2 star review, both me and him did not feel well after we ate. Since we both had steak I'm assuming it was that cause we were both complaining of stomach pains. I've been here before and it was fine, but I doubt I'll be back after this.

The booth was broken, big hole in it and nails sticking out of the sides, The table, menu, glasses and silverware were dirty and also sticky. The service was terrible. The food was pretty expensive, especially the drinks. But they did taste excellent. Overall I would not go here again.

Had a party of 17-18 and was seated within 10-15 mins. Our waiter was friendly and was constantly recommending us appetizers and etc. The portions were fairly big or maybe it was just my dish. I ordered the blackened steak penne which was amazing! Highly recommended if you were to come to this Applebee's! Con: The bathroom was extremely dirty and the hand soap smelled disgusting! And I asked for a medium steak. My steak came out well-done. Was super dry!

I was there just today. All the bad reviews are spot on! I liked the Applebee's in Orlando, so decided to give this one a try. Bad idea! 1st waitress took our order, then passed her notes to 2nd waitress. She could not read what 1st one wrote, so asked us to repeat. So we wait like 30mins, while eating the bland appetizers. I was just about to complain about the wait when the food arrives. I had a steak, and was served mashed potatos. To say it was hard as a brick is not enough. My mom's chicken was too spicy, but the shrimp and mushrooms were ok. Her bro had a steak w/shrimp which was ok as I tasted it. But wait, where is the soups? oh waitress... she comes over and says the 1st waitress was supposed to pass it on. But, after 10mins the soup comes. I guess the best part was drinking Ginger Ale to wash all that junk down the pipes. Oh, and so when I was in the can, a young man was real sick in there. No more Applebee's for me.

This place is really poor with their customer service. I'm not surprised that they only have barely 3 stars. The bartenders at the bar are rude and are not friendly unless your buying a drink or having dinner at the bar. Since we were waiting for a table they outright rolled their eyes at us. The hostess told us twenty minutes, and when twenty minutes came I asked a bout how much longer and she almost told me twenty minutes again. Smh I reminded her of how long we were there and she then said 15 minutes. We continue to stand and wait in the very crowded and packed entrance as we are shooed from the bar, the entrance and everywhere. Meanwhile as someone slept on the couches used for the people waiting. As we are waiting lots of people were leaving yet no ones names are being called. 4 tables that could've sat at least 2 per table just remained with rejected food, dirty dinnerware and no sign of anyone emptying and cleaning to let others sit. From the time we began waiting to the time we were finally seated. Our waitress was pretty good but watching as other waitresses leaned on the wall and sang gangnam style instead of waiting on their tables was the perfect lasting image of thus place. Btw at our table the floor had fries and chips and even some fruit yuck. Then they had the audacity to charge almost $20 for a bowl of pasta and 3 chicken tenders . Never again! I miss TGIFridays not being open...

Im a self proclaimed foodie, so snobs like us hate chain places like Applebees. With that said, gave this place a high rating b/c ( I was dragged in by my sister, otherwise I dont normally go to Applebees)--anyway they had great customer service this morning. The host was friendly and attentive, and my waitress was super cute and really nice. Food is just like any other applebees---medicore. The only things I do like there are the spinach and artichoke dip and they now have fried green beans. I also like the oriental chicken salad and the blackened tilapia.

I came here for my birthday on a week day and there wasn't that many people which was good. We did not have to wait. The place was very calming and you did not feel like you were at a restaurant. We got a bunch of appetizers which our waiter messed one of the appetizers up but it was not a big deal because another waiter fixed it. The food was delicious! I have to say beats all the similar restaurants such as Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Fridays, etc. I had a Red Apple Sangria and that was awesome! Our waiter was pretty good and we enjoyed our short time there. Overall a great experience and great food!

Not so good. 2nd time in a row. Food was tasteless & cold. I never complain because of the saliva & visine factors. I ate about 1/3 of the asian chicken salad. The waitress who was personable never asked the obvious question, "is everything ok?" I used to frequent this Appleby's often but i think its time to give it a long hiatus.

This has got to be one of the best Applebee's ever. I came here last tuesday with my cousins and grandfather on my day off. We had a great time with it. Very cool bartenders and the area is great. I honestly had not been in the area for quite a while. I ordered the Asian Shrimp it was one of the grilling platters and it was good. I didn't really want one of the lunch specials because the portions seemed really really small (not worth even the $6.99 price). The strip here is great if you come early in the afternoon you can see some people coming back from fishing and stuff. I would definitely come back here, hopefully we get the same bartender.

Stopped at applebees after the movies for a quick bite with friends. Once again I ordered the cowboy burger and wasn't disappointed. Furthermore, applebees was clean and appealing. Love the set up! Waitress wasn't up to par, but the overall experience was great..

I usually don't go to cookie-cutter establishments but I have on occasion been to this Applebee's. I've always been disappointed. Their soups and sauces have a filler texture and everything tastes laced with MSG. Someone invariably orders steak... always excessively fatty. Um, not thrilled.

I was there for dinner & breakfast previously. I like the choices they have for 2/$20 dinner or 2/$26 dinner. the portion was large enough to fill me up & my boyfriend. the food taste ok. I had the steak, the meat was tender enough. My boyfriend had grilled shrimp & chicken with rice. the shrimp was just alright. He liked the chicken & the rice. And then with the dinner receipt, if you go back there for breakfast with the dinner receipt within 1-2 wks, you get 10% discount on your breakfast bill. since my boyfriend & I wanted to try their breakfast anyway, so the 10% discount came in handy. But the waitress for breakfast time wasn't friendly enough, maybe she was too tired. so we left her alone even she place the wrong order in for my boyfriend.

I honestly don't know what's wrong with people. My Mom and I go here all the time. We enjoy the food and have NEVER, EVER experienced the rude staff the others on this site claim to have experienced. Perhaps the customers were rude first, which I have seen myself. You get what u give. This Applebee's does NOT deserve the bad reviews . Some people are just not happy unless they are complaining about something! My Mom and I will continue to go here. If you don't like the restaurant, then don't go back...but don't trash the place. That is UNCALLED for.

I've been here three times and I don't know why. They are quick to get your order but the service is pretty dismal. The food is probably microwaved and not enjoyable. Every time I have gone my food doesn't seem fresh, I ordered a fajita type plate with my friend. My friends plate came out somewhat sizzling as it should and mine came quiet and warm. I was very disappointed. I will try to not go there again, but its a regular spot for some of my friends so I will have to push them away from there and to a Chili's or Red Lobster or something. Don't waste your time and money if you are looking for good food.

I asked for a Medium steak and was thrown a rare and cold steak. Was sitting with 2 other people and the orders were thrown on the table and we had to organize the plates. We were also never offered refills. Food for other guests was passable. But I have had problems here before. I'll pass next time.

Came here with some friends because they had a voucher that they won for a few free meals. I didn't have high expectations coming here at first but I was pleasantly surprised once I arrived. They have a parking lot with valet parking. The ambiance is your typical Applebee's setting. Our waiter was pleasant and he even introduced us to the general manager who was friendly. We had a three course meal and all of the food was delicious especially the Wonton Chicken appetizer. Overall, I left this place satisfied and happy.

-Food: 2 1/2 stars I ordered the Fire Pit Bacon Burger. It had applewood bacon, chipotle sauce, pepper jack cheese, tomatoes & onions with a thick burger patty. The meat was a bit on the dry side, the dressings was better than the meat. For appetizers I h

This time, the portions were much larger. I got the 2 for $20 again. There were at least 7 pieces of broccoli that came with the steak and a huge scoop of mashed potatoes the size of a burger. The half grilled caesar salad was a plate full. I was much more satisfied with the portions this time than the first time around.

This place needs a complete renovation. The booths are damaged and uncomfortable. The bathrooms are filthy, and the staff is inattentive. The menu is average for a family style chain restaurant. The prices are good since there is usually some sort of special going on. It's nice that you can sit outside and get a breeze from the water, but the wait to be seated when there are empty tables available is ridiculous. T.G.I Fridays and the EL Greco Diner are both only a few blocks away and also have outdoor seating with better food, better service, and a much cleaner environment.

Dined there on a Saturday night. Service was excellent, and although the place was packed (always a good sign of quality in a chain restaurant far from the Subway), the experience was not too stressing. The strip on Emmons Avenue is not too bad. Parking is valet. Ordered again tonight... $10 for Shrimp and Steak. How on earth do you possibly beat that deal?
